55-665YB-58A-CFSnoopy IEdwards AFBYESFirst flight 9/28/57; first test aircraft delivered to the USAF on 2/15/58; on 2/15/59 modified to test AN/ASG-18 radar system and associated GAR-9/AIM-47 missile for the F-108 Rapier and later the YF-12A programs.In derelict condition on the Edwards AFB photo test range for many years. Recent (2005) satellite photographs place the airframe appx. 1 mile northeast of the intersection of Lancaster Blvd. and East Avenue B. This would be about 1/2 mile south of the south end of dry lakebed runway 35.

55-666YB-58A-CFConvair/Carswell AFBYESFirst flight 3/20/58; used as the GE J79-GE-5 engine test aircraft using a special centerline pod - on 11/8/58 flew 32 minutes at sustained Mach 2 with the YJ79-GE-5s; made longest B-58 early test program flight of 11 hours 15 minutes on 8/16/62.Formerly on static display at Chanute AFB IL wearing serial number 61-2059, 55-666 was shipped to Castle Air Museum in Atwater California arriving on August 17, 2017 and is in multiple phases of restoration.

43rd BW last Hustler assigned to 43rd.YESFirst flight 5/13/58; used for various special projects - Hughes AN/APQ-69 SLAR Goodyear AN/APS-73; orignally scheduled to be first airframe fitted with GE J79-GE-9 engines for B-58B; converted to TB-58A and became last Hustler assigned to 43rd BW.Arrived at MASDC 1/16/70 but was saved and transported by C-5A to Southwest Aerospace Museum Forth Worth TX and later moved to Lone Star Flight Museum Galveston TX. After surviving a tornado, was moved to Little Rock Air Force Base, Jacksonville Ark. and is on display.

43rd BWYESAssigned to 43rd BW. Involved in accident on 7/16/68 right main landing gear collapsed. AF pilot was Maj. George R. Tate (survived); AF nav/bombardier Capt. Ray G. Walters (survived); AF DSO Capt. Francis Mosson (survived).Grounded after an accident at Little Rock AFB. Sat in derelict condition at LRAFB for a number of years airframe stripped including removal of engines; later moved to San Antonio Texas and on display at the former Kelly AFB TX main gate. It appears that the engine housings were built for the purpose of completing the aircraft for display as they are not the correct shape.
